...where did the month go?  I've been a busy bee!  got a new job (yay!) and have worked loads of overtime in preparation for "El Holidaze".  I wish I was filthy rich, and could buy everything my heart desired -- both for myself and loved ones.  I'll keep dreaming (and buying Lotto tickets) 

Meanwhile -- my back is TONS better (thanks for asking, Talula)   

Wonderful thing is -- all the work and the back problems I had, didn't deter me off my writing.  I'm actually not finished with my story yet, but I went GREEN on NaNo!  I didn't even MEAN to!  So I'm over the mark (and still going!!).  I'm pretty excited about that!

I'm going to TRY and keep better updates on this blog -- at least until NaNo is over.  Then I'll have to figure out what to do about a blog. 

Hang tough, fellow NaNo'ers!  It's almost over!!

I hurt my back -- owie!   And haven't been able to sit at my desktop computer for long stints.  I took my Alphasmart Neo to bed with me (kinky, yes?) and was able to write.  But it probably doesn't make any sense.  LOL!  Oh well, at least I was productive while I was hurting.  Meanwhile, I had to work EVERY single day this week (including today -- Sunday).  So not a happy camper am I.

Hope everyone is doing great on the NaNo stuff!  I'll be glad when it's done to be honest!  I hope I can edit this story into something salvageable... or better yet... sellable!

But I went on the Allieve diet.  I had one at breakfast, one for lunch, and... well, you get it.  Try it, you'll feel soooo much better! 

Well, I wrote a major bunch of crappo today, but it kept me occupied.  Or rather preoccupied so I didn't think of my cramps.  Damn you, Mother Nature! 

Work was... weird.  My co-worker turned down my offer of chocolate (PMS cure, y'know) and I was like, "What??" and she proceeds to tell me that she needs to lose weight to wear her Merry Widow outift for her DH.  And I'm like totally niave and -- yes, I ask, "Have I seen you wear that outfit?  What's it look like?" and she waves me over to her computer and proceeds to pull up websites that have outfits that's talking about.  OOOOOOOOOH!  DUH!  Connection.  I see now!  Oopsie!  Dawning hits and I scream at myself, AND YOU CALL YOURSELF AN EROTICA WRITER???  Argh!  I'm an eeeediot!  So anyway, here's what she's talking about for those playing at home:

So then my OTHER coworker comes over and yells: WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT PORN ON THE COMPUTER???

So I needed to distract myself and so I wrote.  Like I said, it's crap on a stick, but hey.. I'm nearly 1/2 there now!  YIPPEE!!!

Well, it's official.  I survived week one of NaNo.  Nerves and all!     So what if I've lived off of coffee and chocolate chip cookie dough for the past 7 days?  I made it!  YIPPEE! 

So anyway, I found when I need to feel refreshed, I use these neat little things in my shower called SUDACARE shower soothers.  Here's a look at them. They're like little fizzies for your shower!  They have camphor and menthol and some other stuff that really makes your shower like a spa.  I'm totally hooked on them now. 

Hope everyone is doing great and is on track with their NaNo writing.  I know I'll be happy when it's over, but it's the getting there that really makes me feel good.  I feel like I'm accomplishing something -- something I've put off too long.  And when it's all said and done, I'll be that much closer to getting published, right?  RIGHT! 

We can do it!!! 

...does everyone else get really annoyed with the "Dynamic Talking Characters" they keep advertising on here?  I mean, ugh!!!  It sucks!  I'm so sick of hitting the MUTE button on that.  Shut UP already!  Grrrrr!

Ok, so that was my bitchfest for the day.  It's Sunday and that means the weekend is ovah.  I'm sad about that.  I want more weekendage!  Is that a word?  Well, if it isn't -- it SHOULD be!

I'm writing a sex scene and OMG it's sooooo tough.  Not that it's hard to write about sex, it's just hard to get them all (er - like there's more than 2 characters? )  Anyway, it's a hot scene, but it's getting all the appendages in the right place.  Phew.  Thats the toughest part.  And frustrating!  Growl. 

But I shall perservere!  Just this one HOT scene and then I'll let them rest.  I'll write some witty dialogue.  yeah... I'm pretty good at having them TALK.  I usually fancy myself good at having them have sex -- but I'm wearing myself out!   

So, armed with a Chick-O-Stick and an egg timer, I'm going back in to finish what I started!  They WILL both orgasm tonite if it kills them!  On that I swear, my dear characters.  You will both smoke a cigarette of contentment.

Go team, GO!

So I missed a post.  Or 2?  Whatevah... The point is, I am here!  I didn't abandon ship.  I didn't throw down my pen in despair!  Heck, I didn't even have a pen!  (I have a cute little Mickey Mouse mechanical pencil)...

But I digress...

I'm super happy to be approximately 1/4 (give or take) the way there!  YESSSS!
